Our Story
Kevin and Somya met the old fashioned way: on a dating app. Somya had a reference to Bayesian statistics in her profile that caught Kevin's eye, and he decided to give it a shot. After rescheduling their first date several times, they finally found a time that worked... which ended up being the day layoffs were announced at Somya's company. A fancy restaurant dinner was cancelled in favor of watching Moonrise Kingdom on the couch, and that vibe has been a touchstone for the relationship - cute, cozy, unassuming and supportive.
In the time since, Kevin and Somya have been on their share of wild adventures as well, from Agra and Rajasthan to the Black Rock desert. A shared love of dance has taken them from the mainstage to the sangeet stage. And throughout it all, they've worked to build a life together - sometimes physically, like when they built a custom upholstered bench for the weird little corner in their apartment, but always emotionally, in the interweaving connections of family and friends.
Now, after nearly three years together, they're taking the next step of that shared journey, and are excited to share it with you!
